Imagine waking up to the sun rising on the mountains, reflecting off the lake. Sitting in bed, sipping a hot cup of coffee or tea and taking it all in, slowly, breathing deep. Then joining an intentional group of a friends, for your morning practices. Being held, and gently guided into your power, you feel stronger, more content, more clear, at ease & deeply relaxed.
Following, you & your friends share in laughter & heart-opening conversations, over a mouth-watering, nourishing meal, complete with fresh juices and foamed lattes, all prepared for you with love.
Feeling fully nourished and alive, you decide to take a slow walk through the forest, and down to the water, where you feel instantly pulled to step in & swim in the cool clear waters. Warming up in the wood-fired sauna, and soaking in the cedar hot-tub, while taking in the awe-inspiring view of the lake & mountains, you take a few cooling dips in the cold tub, and feel so alive, energized, and calm.
Once again, you rejoin your friends & teacher to explore the deeper, more subtle aspects of yoga and life, stretching your body, connecting to your breath, observing your mind, and experiencing a profound but subtle shift to even greater clarity & awareness of your current truth & desires.
You again sit down with those same friends, now more like family, deepening your connection, feeling supported to share honestly about your experiences and curiosities, and receiving deep wisdom from the group. And are again presented with a divine array of foods, savory and sweet, that light up your taste buds, and make you feel like you're glowing from the inside out.
After relaxing with tea and a decadent (and surprisingly healthy) treat following dinner, you meet your friends for a new experience, you feel both excited and curious about. You feel the deep love & trust for this offering that the teacher shares, and drop right into a sense of safety, and letting go. You leave feeling wide-open, complete & connected.
As you retreat to your room, you feel like you’re floating, and more at home in yourself than you’ve felt in a long time. You wonder who that person was that showed up here, and how completely more radiant & YOU, you feel now. Settling into the soft pillows and blankets of your bed, you watch the moon slide across the night sky, inviting you into a deep rest. It feels like only a moment has passed, yet you naturally wake to daylight, feeling fully refreshed, excited and energized to again have a whole day to tend to your body, your mind & your spirit in all the ways you regularly wish you could. And a curiosity arises, of how much MORE of this incredibly alive & radiant you, you’ll come back to today.
"I would attend any retreat that Ashley was hosting, anywhere. She has a wonderful way about her, which is welcoming but allows the individual space to create their own experience."
"I appreciate how you thoughtfully crafted a retreat that was rooted in your own practice and journey. Your sharing and vulnerability modeled and created a safe space for us to explore our own journeys and to share our experiences. Thank you."
" I recently attended Ashley’s yoga retreat, and it was a truly beautiful experience. Ashley is an exceptional teacher — you can feel that she genuinely wants to help people, and she leads with an open, warm, and grounded presence. Her teachings come from many years of authentic, lived experience, and it shows in every practice.
The group experience was just as meaningful: meeting new people in a safe, supportive space, speaking openly about what moves, blocks, or challenges us, and being guided with intention through the process.
The combination of Kundalini yoga with other forms of yoga and meditation gave me a new clarity in several areas of my life. The retreat took place by a stunning lake, surrounded by winding forest paths, nourishing food, and inspiring nature. I can wholeheartedly recommend this retreat."
"I had never experienced Kundalini before ... and my experience in my first class was: what the heck is Ashley leading me to do?! But also, why do I feel so good when we stop to observe, and after the practice? Three years later, I still don't really understand why, and it's become essential in my weekly schedule.
One of the reasons I wanted to go to the retreat was to experience Kundalini classes with more time and space around them for reflection and integration. The weekend definitely gave me that.
For me, (it) doesn't just help my body stay flexible and strong. My mental and emotional state after practice is much more receptive and flexible, responsive and creative. And Kundalini does that more effectively than other styles of yoga I've tried.
The retreat helped me clarify my values and priorities, so that my path forward is more closely aligned with the way I want to be in the world, a spiritual tune-up for which I am deeply grateful."
